Abstract

The utility model discloses a can-type breaker, which aims at solving the problems that the prior art has larger volume, higher operating power and the like. The can-type breaker comprises a fixed contact device, a moving contact device and an arc extinguish chamber; the arc extinguish chamber is a space enclosed by an insulating nozzle and dielectric shield which is arranged between two disconnected arc extinguish contacts in the insulating nozzle and is made of insulating materials, the insulating nozzle is arranged inside a current-carrying load moving contact and extends outwards, and the dielectric shield limits the size of an opening of the arc extinguish chamber radially and/or axially. The structure effectively extends creep distance of the arc due to the insulating nozzle and the dielectric shield, therefore, the arc is lengthened gradually, the arc resistance is increased and the extinguish of the arc is accelerated, thus improving the on-off capability of the breaker; in addition, compared with the arc extinguish chamber with same voltage level, the can-type breaker has smaller volume, reduces operating power, little occupied area, more convenient installation, low fracture gravity center and good earthquake resistant capability and is applicable to seismically active regions.
本实用新型公开了一种罐式断路器,为解决现有技术中体积较大、操作功率较高等问题而发明。本实用新型包括静触头装置、动触头装置和灭弧室,灭弧室为由设置在载流动触头内部并向外伸出的绝缘喷咀和设置在绝缘喷咀内断开状态两灭弧触头之间由绝缘材料制成的介电屏蔽围成的空间,所述的介电屏蔽在径向和/或轴向限制灭弧室开口大小。上述的结构,由于绝缘喷咀和介电屏蔽有效延长了电弧的爬电距离,这样电弧将被逐渐拉长,电弧电阻增大,加速电弧的熄灭,从而提高了断路器的开断能力,并且与相同电压等级的灭弧室相比,体积较小,降低操作功,占地面积小,安装更方便、断口重心低、抗震性能好,适用于地震活跃地区。
